• Brussels Sustainability Jam

    10 + 11 + 12 November 2017

  • CREATING SUSTAINABLE SOLUTIONS

You'll have 48 hours to work on problems that matter, to test shitty analog prototypes in the wild.

You'll be embarrassed. You'll feel awkward. You'll miss your laptop.

But you'll have a great time and learn a ton. And you'll get to know a bunch of enthusiastic designers, sustainability experts, business people and policy makers.

The Global Sustainability Jam is an event where people come together in cities around the globe to prototype new products and services. For the first time, this is happening in Brussels!

In a spirit of co-operation and friendly competition, you will form teams and work together for 48 hours to develop sustainable innovations inspired by a shared theme.

  • Who should join?

Designers, sustainability experts, professors, business people, hackers, makers, artists, students or (grand)parents, everybody is welcome. As long as you are willing to experiment and learn new methods and tools to make an impact, this is the event for you.

The #BXLSusJam is open to around 30 people who are passionate about sustainability, in the broad sense of the word: poverty reduction, gender equality and environmental issues (see UN goals).

    Play

"Play is the highest form of research" Albert Einstein

Design thinking is fun! Release your inner creative soul and come up with sustainable ideas. Brainstorms followed by hands-on workshops and prototyping. Making instead of talking is our motto!
